So today I was just walking around, living my life when all of a sudden [insert fabricated but exciting life event here].
You get the point, basically *nothing* is going on right now. I'm waiting to start an exciting new job doing research on aggression and development with the Watson research group. I'm waiting to hear Susanna Kaysen, the woman responsible for writing one of my favorite books, speak about her brush with insanity. I'm waiting for weekend again. Basically, I'm just waiting. In the meantime, I'm living life in that do-what-I-have-to-but-not-enjoy-it sort of way. I read a relatively engaging but uninformative neuroscience chapter on brain lateralization, then I checked on the progress of my fruit flies at the biology lab. I get the feeling that all that I'm really living at this point is anticipation. The best is yet to come. Current Mood: Impatient Current Music: "Faith & Courage" ~ Sinead O'Connor PS: Expect a post in the near future about my impression of Susanna Kaysen, incoming! Also, I want to watch The NeverEnding Story...again.
