I walked to the comic store and back today while listening to Tori Amos. It was highly rewarding because Astonishing X-men #4 was waiting on the shelf for me - with Colossus, apparently back from the dead, on the cover. Jodd Whedon (of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer fame) is doing wonders for the X-men franchise with this book, and I'm not usually too into the "bringing people back from the dead" thing, but Whedon righted a terrible wrong by bringing Colossus back. He has a great respect for the characters, especially Kitty, and for that reason every issue thus far has been perfectly written.
Things I'm looking forward to: 1) Finishing my 12th and last subject for my thesis 2) Watermelon sherbet in the fridge 3) Bjork's new album dropping next Tuesday! 4) Jubilee and Nightcrawler each getting their own comic series next month! (AKA "Who's been sleeping in my head?") The semester is going to be crazy. I'm determined to take only 3 classes (plus senior thesis), the first of which MUST be linear algebra and the second of which MUST be experimental psych (I'm not gunna drop it this time, I swear!). The third one is going to have to be a grad-level neuro class, so it looks like either Autism (with the tiniest $135 book ever) or Cell Neuroscience. Best All. And thanks for the comments, leave more!
