I dinna understand, Dani!
When Rahne (AKA Wolfsbane) and Rictor were in The New Mutants together, it was a blossoming romance.
Unfortunately for her, Rictor wasn't waiting for her at the embassy. Now, when they meet again in the new X-Factor series, it is just the precious moment that I waited for...

Rahne: RICTOR! Ye great flaming id'jit!
Rictor: Oh. Uh...hi, Rahne...
Rahne: Don't ye be "Hi, Rahne-ing" me! Suicide? Do ye know what'll happen if ye kill yuirself? Do ye? It's a mortal sin! A Death blow to yuir soul! Ye'll go straight to hell! Hell, Rictor! Eternal Punishment, burning in th' lake of fire for ever and ever! Or ye'll be hung upside down and flailed by demons with thorny whips, ripping the skin from yuir body and then it grows back and they rip it off again, and maggots will eat yuir entrails and--
Rictor: Y'know...in Japan, suicide is historically regarded as an honorable means of--
Rahne: Does this look like Japan? Does it?! Ye see shinto shrines anywhere?! A Toshiro Mifune film festival down the street? Do ye?
Rictor: Uh...no?
Rahne: Correct! And ye know why? 'Cause you're not in bleeding Japan, that's why!

Short hair? Scottish accent? Religious ranting? The old Rahne is back! X-Factor#1 is an answer to me prayers. (I discussed Rahne's sudden change back in March 2004).

Update: I found the relevant page online.
Comments:
Yay new layout! It looks much more...unsquished and comicky now!
